The civil calendar date is given, followed by the date according to the Church calendar in brackets - the date in bold is the date for your diary.  Unless otherwise stated, services are at our main church in Liscard.  For further information, please contact us.

Sundays
The cycle of Sunday services begins with Vespers on Saturday evening.  This is usually at 5.30 p.m. at St Elisabeth's church in Wallasey but mainly in the late spring or summer so please e-mail or telephone first to make sure.

The Divine Liturgy is usually served every Sunday at St Elisabeth's, Wallasey.  The Liturgy is preceded by the Hours, beginning at approximately 10.00 a.m. Confessions are heard before the Liturgy, and tea, coffee, and light refreshments are usually served afterwards.  On the final Sunday of every month, the Liturgy is followed by a bring-and-share luncheon.

This is subject to some variation so please consult the calendar before setting off. 

Weekday Services
When one of the Twelve Great Feasts falls on a day other than Saturday or Sunday, it is usually celebrated with a Divine Liturgy on the day and Vespers the evening before.  There may also be other services from time to time at Little St Elisabeth's chapel in Birkenhead.  Please check the monthly calendar for full details.
